DestackerTypical applications of a single-sided double sheet detection system. The sensor is mounted in a spring-loaded vacuum cup assembly (arrow). The sensor has no lifting function; its sole purpose is pressing the sensor vertically against the sheet.
Centering stationNoncontact double sheet detection in a centering station. The sensors are mounted in a C-frame which is moved in and out for detection purposes, when the blank is being centered. This very sturdy C-frame provides excellent protection of the sensors against damage. To reduce the height of the assembly, the sensors have radial cable exits.
