Global Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks are:
Customer support: Your responsibility includes the strategic support and further development of our direct customers as well as our multipliers, such as representatives and sales partners, particularly in the area of technically sophisticated products. A sound understanding of our customers' production processes and the ability to optimize these with our products is of crucial importance.
Strategic planning: You are responsible for developing and implementing long-term sales strategies in cooperation with the multipliers in order to achieve the company's sales targets and at the same time strengthen customer loyalty.
Successful orders: By providing competent customer advice and independently conducting price and contract negotiations, the key account manager is responsible for converting offers into successful orders, thus ensuring the company's business success.
Representing the company: As a representative of the company, the key account manager takes part in trade fairs, events and association activities in order to present the company, establish contacts and build and maintain relationships with important interest groups.
Recognizing new sales potential: By continuously monitoring the market and identifying sales opportunities and potential in the territories covered, the key account manager helps to open up new sales markets and maximize business success.
What you bring with you:
- Successfully completed technical training with appropriate further training or a completed technical degree, preferably with an economic component
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, other language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- As a technically experienced person, you have an affinity for sales and are interested in selling products that require technical explanation
- Knowledge of systems and machines, especially those used in the automotive industry or automotive supply industry, is an advantage
- Independent way of working in a self-directed environment and equally strong team orientation
