The UDK20 has established itself as the industry standard for double sheet detection across all types of metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) over more than 15 years and in several thousand installations worldwide. Despite this continued success, a generational change became necessary. The main reasons were to ensure long-term serviceability and to significantly improve user-friendliness.

Both of these aspects are combined in the newly developed UDK21, which will be delivered starting in October 2026.

The UDK21 also stands for 100% reliability in double sheet detection and the highest quality standards. To enable a smooth transition from the UDK20 to the UDK21, comprehensive functional compatibility has been ensured: the UDK21 supports existing sensors, interfaces, recipes, and software integrations of the previous model. Only an adapter is required to continue using existing sensors and cables from the UDK20.
