Weld Seam Detection
The improvement of welding processes, the widespread use of laser welding and post-treatments such as annealing and coating have made the automatic detection of weld seams in subsequent machining processes such as in tube bending machines or hydroforming - IHU - a difficult sensor technology task. This applies to weld seam detection in tubes as well as in flat material such as coils. With our highly developed systems, the localization of weld seams is reliably possible even when other, e.g. optical, methods fail.
