New sensor detects weld seams at smallest tubes

With the detection system, weld seams in tubes with very small diameters from 6.5 mm to 10 mm can be reliably detected. The system also works with short tubes that have a length of 40mm only. The main field of applications is the detection of weld seams in tube processing systems for hydraulic lines, fuel lines, gas lines, holding frames and similar components. The target group for this weld detection system are automotive suppliers, manufacturers of household appliances, kitchen appliances and air conditioning systems. Roland Electronic highlights the suitability of the detection system for small tubes, including the detection of invisible seams, the detection on coated tubes, suitable for all metals and the high level of detection reliability. Roland Electronic is a leading provider of highly specialized sensor systems for factory automation and quality control.
